Shawna got her first tattoo when she was eighteen. She'd always felt she was caged bird with her life, so she decided to state that with her first act of rebellion with a tattoo. Instead of shutting the cage door, she decided to open the cage door to symbolize she was able to finally escape and be free.

After her first tattoo, Shawna quickly got addicted slightly. She decided her next tattoo was going to be an infinity symbol with a heart next to it. She'd meant for it to symbolize her love for her father was infinite. However, she hardly tells the truth to this tattoo to many people.

Shawna had always seen the back tattoos with writing always on it. She'd been inspired by Megan Fox's back tattoo, so she wanted done herself. Since she'd already had her bird cage tattoo, she decided she needed a quote to go with it. So she searched the internet for hours until she stumbled upon a quote she loved, 'Sometimes you wake up, Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall you fly'. She felt the quotes helped see everything she went through in her life.

Shawna's adopted sister Emmanuelle had been teaching Shawns French, since she French herself. And Shawna instantly fell in love with the language, so she was going to get a tattoo of her favorite phrase. She decided to go with something that would symbolize her love for her adopted sister. It would represent that even though they weren't related through blood, she love her nonetheless.

Shawna always love Japanese Kanji characters, so she wanted to get some random symbols of her own. She decided these tattoos were going to be her last ones and she might as well have fun with it.

→ Personality: Shantella is very carefree and tends to be very outgoing. She tends to have problems with not thinking situations through. Her mind gets all ditzy when it happens. Also, she's a huge clutz. If a log is in her path, well she will fall over it.

Although Shantella seems like a totally airhead, she's actually not. She is very intelligent..this is because she reads a lot of books to know information. She is very much considered a bookworm amongst her friends. Bethany can be very determined once she sets her mind upon something.

She doesn't let many things get to her. However when she gets angry, it's like a volcano eruppting nothing can stop it..she also has a problem with cussing when this happens.If anyone calls Shawna by her first name Shantella, she will go insane with rage. She absoulutely loathes her first name and prefers to go by Shawna.

Shawna believes she isn't anything special..she is average just like everyone else. She's not here to make a name for herself..she's doing things for the fun of it..because she wants too.

Also, she is very over protective over her her friend and family. If you were to insult any of them, you are going to face her tiny wrath. However that wrath isn't pretty..you wouldn't want to mess with her. She is very insecure of her abilities, she believes she's not good enough to be a witch. However, she does it anyway. Shantella got Aphdordite her second year at Hogwarts, she thought she needed her own owl instead of using the families owl every time she needed to send mail. Including her mother would go through the mail before she sent them, so if she had her own owl this wouldn't happen. So she walked into the pet shop and asked the clerk to give her the cheapest, most beautiful owl they had. The clerk came back with a gorgeous tan, brown feathered Barn Owl. Instanteously Shantella was captivated by her beauty, she named her Aphdordite after the owl's beautiful appearance. Throughout the years, Shantella spoiled Aphdordite rotten and even began calling her little princess.
