Moon personality could be described as one of a kind. She's bubbly, outgoing, and lively. Many of her family sees her as sunshine on a cloudly day. The saying, "You make me happy when cloud are grey, Please don't take my sunshine away." is taken with her personality---or so her mother tells her. Although she's quite a catch, she's has her social flaws--but who doesn't..?

Moon was diagnosed clinical depression when her families died. She's traumatized by the face, she blames their death on herself because she wasn''t on that vacation and should've died with them. If you were to meet Moon on the streets, she wouldn't seem depressed because she hates dwelling on the past. Also, she's very hyperactive when giving sweets. Her thoughts go out the window and she begins to act like a three-year old. It's quite funny but embarassing at the same time.

Moon is a huge animal freak. If she had it her way, she'd find homes for every one of them. She's also short tempered at times, if she's set off the wrong way. Well let's just put it this way, you're in for it! Her temper is one of her worst qualities. It's like ticking of a set bomb. When it's explode, there's no telling what it'll do. She could punch a wall, get in your face and cuss like a sailor, or simply let it go(which is very often). Moon has been to many anger mangement classes, but none have really help.

She's also considered socially awkward. During her years of middle schooll, she didn't have many friends. She perfered to keep to herself. The kids made fun of her because she had glasses and braces-- but you can't help what God gives you right? Also, she has a mouth of a dirty sailor literary. She's a cusser and she's not afraid of it.

One of the bad things about Moon is she is hardheaded and has a ego issue . When someone tries to give her advice, she turns her cheek and tends to ignore it. Her ego tends to get in the way of this, it's not that she thinks she's better than everyone else. It's that she doesn't like to be told what to do, this habit comes from having a lack of parental guidance through the years.

After the death of her family, Moon wasn't able to cope with the loss. It killed her inside and it always seem like she was blaming herself for their deaths. So, Moon's adopted mother decided it would be best to get her a pet to help get her through her dark time. Then, her mother went to a pet shop and picked out the ideal dog she thought would best fit her little Moon. Moon's reputation seems to perceive her; she's known as being this badass natured chick. However, she's the complete opposite. She's a harmless fly who talk is worse than her bite. Unforunately her mouth tends to get her in more trouble than it needs to be since the young female isn't afraid to speak her mind. Also, Moon is known for her love of sports. She's competitive and ruthless once it comes to them and hates to be beated. Hence, the reason she made captain of the soccer team.

Moon was the first born of child of Ichirou and Atsuko Saaka. Her parents had meet at a local bar and it was an unplanned pregnancy. Of course, her parents knew better than to just give up on the kid. Hell, both of them were stupid enough to not use protection so it was both their own fault! So, the two decided to get married quickly before the baby arrived. After the two got married, Atsuko gave birth to a healthy baby girl who they named Tsukiakari, meaning “moonlight”. Atsuko claimed her first daughter had the moon in her eyes, so that's where her name came from

Although their wedding was a shotgun wedding, Moon's parents soon realized their undying love for each other. So to help commemorate the event, the newlyweds decided to renew their vows and wanting to have more children to add to their little family. So, they tried over and over but alas it never worked out in their behavior. Then, her parents thought why not focus on the baby girl. Growing up, Moon had a normal lifestyle with a loving pair of parents and was spoiled rotten by being the only child.

By the time Moon was 9, her parents got the thrilling news that they were expecting a new child. Needless to say, the young blackette was over ecstatic about being an older sister. Right before her tenth birthday, Moon's mother gave birth to Moon's baby sister, Megumi. They decided to name her that because after all their luck of trying, she truly was their little “blessing”---on an extra note, Megumi means “blessing” in Japanese.

Like every pair of siblings, both sisters got on the others last nerve. Although the two loved each other very much, there were times where the two wouldn't speak for days. However, Megumi and Moon loved each other to the moon and back. In fact, Moon was so overprotective over her baby sister that she wasn't afraid to kick somebody's ass if they ever hurt her.

When Moon was eleven, her parents decided to move their daughters to Konohagakure in order to have a better life. This is also where Moon met her best friend, Shiloh Korasaki. The two met while Moon was in fourth grade and the two have been inseparable—more like attached at the hip—ever since. By the time Moon was starting middle school, Shiloh's and Moon's family had practically were one. However, when high school rolled around that all seemed to change. See, it all started when Moon's parent planned a vacation to the tropical village of Rakuengakure for a family get-a-way.

Unfortunately, Moon was unable to attend the vacation because Shiloh and herself had this huge project for their Drama class with the school's production of “Romeo and Juliet” Although Moon was devastated she couldn't attend, she knew her family was bound to have fun without her. Boy, she was sure wrong! After two weeks of being gone, Moon received the news of horrible earthquake killing her family. This caused the teen to become heartbroken and be diagnosed with clinical depression.

Since Moon is underaged, there was great debate on who would gain custody of the young girl. Fortunately, the young female was soon given to her Godmother, who just happened to be a close friend of the family and instantly blended into a member of the family. Although still heartbroken and blaming herself for her family's death, Moon would know that her family would want her to keep on being happy and just remember all of the good times they shared together.
